What We Do
“We are dedicated to the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical selves that constitute the “whole child.” Children of different backgrounds share in the richness of cultural diversity. Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment with the love, affection, and attention that all young children need to thrive.
As an Ohio Healthy Program designated by the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, we provide “clean” food from our licensed kitchen and demonstrate a commitment to gross motor development to enhance both mind and body.
Nestled in a residential neighborhood and surrounded by 3 acres of beautiful outdoors, ECEC has created a happy, warm, and secure atmosphere in which we treat children with respect, listen to them, and talk with them. The continuity of daily routines and the limits we have established adds to their security. This security enables them to become self-motivated learners. We strive to maintain a balance between large group, small group, and individual activities to help the children develop interpersonal skills, as well as independent functioning and an awareness of their own individual interests and abilities.
